January 6th - Lamar University reopens, disbursement for Spring 2025.

January 9th - Spring 2025 payment due date.

January 15th The 2025-26 FAFSA priority deadline.

                            2025-26 Lamar University General Scholarship Application priority deadline.

                            2025-26 Lamar University Presidential Scholarship deadline.

January 16th - First class day for Spring 2025.

Cost of Attendance


The Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of all expenses - billable and non-billable - associated with attending Lamar University. It includes direct costs like tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and meal plan as well as variable costs like books, supplies, transportation, and personal expenses. The COA expenses are NOT charged to your account. Use our Net Price Calculator to estimate your potential out-of-pocket costs after financial aid is applied.

Classes that Count!

Students are only eligible to receive financial aid for classes that count towards their degree, certificate, or other recognized credential.  With the exception of eligible remedial classes, taking classes outside of your degree or certificate program will affect your financial aid.
